Dr. Sterling Carter graduated from the prestigious Langston University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1993 and then returned for an additional Bachelor’s degree at Langston University in Physical Therapy in 1997. Further enhancing his education with a post-professional Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University with a focus in Orthopedics and a Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College. Dr. Carter has practiced as a professional physical therapist for over 17 years. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a certification common with all professional sports level therapists, athletic trainers and coaches. A proud protector of his country, Dr. Carter has served over 22 years in the United States Army, primarily working as a physical therapist (both active and reserve status). Dr. Carter serves on the Board of Directors for Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and St. Michael’s Learning Academy. Dr. Carter’s past military and life experiences have afforded him the skills and compassion needed in the healthcare environment. His care and concern for the well-being of people and dedication to excellence, quality, and results are apparent in his vision for this clinic. Most recently, Dr. Carter’s commitment and enthusiasm has been recognized by his inclusion in Living Magazine’s annual Top Docs magazine issue.
