Licensed Physical Therapist
Dr. Sterling Carter graduated from the prestigious Langston University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 1993 and then returned for an additional Bachelor's degree at Langston University in Physical Therapy in 1997. Further enhancing his education with a post-professional Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University with a focus in Orthopedics and a clinical doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College. Dr. Carter has practiced as a professional physical therapist for over 17 years. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a certification common with all professional sports level therapists, athletic trainers and coaches. A proud protector of his country, Dr. Carter has served over 22 years in the United States Army, primarily working as a physical therapist (both active and reserve status). Dr. Carter serves on the Board of Directors for Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and St. Michael's Learning Academy. Dr. Carter's past military and life experiences have afforded him the skills and compassion needed in the healthcare environment. His care and concern for the well-being of people and dedication to excellence, quality, and results are apparent in his vision for this clinic.

Bhavisha is a proud graduate of the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Central Penn College. Bhavisha's passion is patient care and helping others. Bhavisha is a truly personifies the Sterling Physical Therapy mission; "excellent customer service and quality care, every time".
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
Lindsey is a proud native of Sugar Land, TX. She received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin. From there, Lindsey attended HCC Coleman Center, where she completed the PTA program and was licensed as a PTA in 2007. Lindsey has a love for orthopedics and passion for helping people reach their personal goals of recovery and wellness. Lindsey enjoys live music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
PT Tech/Student Volunteer Coordinator
With many years as a physical therapy technician and licensed massage therapist, Julianna has developed a unique understanding and treatment of patients needs. She motivates patients to attain a healthy spirit, mind and body. Personally, Julianna cares deeply about nature and enjoys spending time in the mountains.
PT Tech/ Marketing Specialist
Lena graduated from HCC health careers with an AAS in the physical therapy assistant program. She has worked in physical therapy for the past 20 years, and is a licensed massage therapist. Lena enjoys working with patients, and helping them recover to the fullest. When she is not working, Lena enjoys spending quality time with her family, going to church, and especially loves to travel to other parts of the world. Lena's greatest experience was horseback riding in the Caribbean. Some of her hobbies include decorating and traveling.
Jonathan Nadela, Director of Operations
Jonathan Nadela is responsible for the operations of our outpatient clinics. Nadela completed his graduate degree in healthcare administration at the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he served as enlisted hospital corpsman in the United States Navy.
Lou Vargas, Front Desk Specialist
Lou is one of the most important pieces of our team. She is the first person you will see when entering Sterling Physical Therapy. Lou prides herself in her ability to provide quality service with a smile and always puts the patient first. Lou has three things that she enjoys most outside of the office; spending time with her hubby, spending time with her doggy, and dancing!
